Hutchins, James L.
James L. Hutchins, 75, of Kilkenny, Minn., died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010.
Jim was born May 1, 1934, the son of Louie and Mable (Henriksen) Hutchins. He graduated from Marion High School in 1952. Jim married Neomia Triplett on June 6, 1966. He was a member of Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited and the North American Fishing Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. He cherished his children and grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his wife; seven children, Jean (Robert) Sculley of Florida, Virginia (Jim) Hardin of Oklahoma, Harry (Vicki) Clark of Texas, Randy Lee Hutchins of North Carolina, Randy Kaye (Tamra) Southard of Minnesota, John (Kristyn) Ryan of Springville and David (Michelle) Ryan of Cedar Rapids; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Leo (Twyla) Hutchins and Harold (Joyce) Hutchins, both of Marion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Londa; a son, Gary; a granddaughter, Amy; a grandson, Russell; and Neomia's son, Johnny.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 3, in Waterville, Minn., with the Rev. David Crow officiating.
