Transit drivers deserve our thanks

Thanks to whoever thought of Transit Driver Appreciation Day for giving me the chance to shout out to the fine drivers of Cedar Rapids Transit.
I am particularly appreciative of how helpful they were as they, passengers and everyone else managed the transition to the new bus routes in summer 2017. Driving a gigantic vehicle around snow, ice, double-parked cars and other obstructions can't be easy, but they do it with style and grace. Happy TDAD!
