Sandra Sue Christiansen, 70, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully on Thursday,
Dec. 18, 2014. Per Sandra's wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Iowa Cremation.
Sandra grew up in Mechanicsville, the daughter of Harold and Irene Fisher, and graduated from Lincoln High School in Stanwood.
Sandra worked in data processing for 25 years and also owned and managed rental properties for the last 26 years. She and her husband, Hans, enjoyed going to their cabin in Montana for the past 20 years. Sandra also enjoyed doing water aerobics with her friends at Bender Pool.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Hans; two children, John Birmingham of Cedar Rapids and Jodi Birmingham of Marion; her sister, Janette Whitman of Lisbon; one grandson, Matthew Birmingham; and loving nieces and nephews.
