Joan B. (Pudil) Frein, 85, a lifelong resident of Charles City, Iowa, died Dec. 12, 2020, at the Floyd County Medical Center. A funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Charles City, and a private family burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Charles City, both at a future date.
Joan Barbara Pudil was born March 26, 1935, in Charles City, the daughter of Leonard and Josephine (Marshick) Pudil. She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, Charles City, Class of 1953, and Mount Mercy College School of Nursing, Class of 1956, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
