Slaughter, Charles 'Charley' Stephen
Charles “Charley” Stephen Slaughter, 63, of Hiawatha, died Jan. 4, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his firstborn daughter, Mischelle Marie Walls, 43, of Pasadena, Texas; grandchildren, Michael, Bryan and Kristin Mcfarland; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Ayden Medina.
Charles was born Jan. 24, 1949, in Chicago. He rode the bus all week to McDonald's for coffee and a sausage burito and watched his direct T.V.
