Debra Westcott
DEBRA WESTCOTT Oxford Junction Debra Westcott, 61, of Oxford Junction, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque. Debra was born in Vinton, Iowa, on March 5, 1955. She married Chet Westcott on Aug. 25, 1973 in Vinton. There will be a visitation service held form 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction. Debra enjoyed playing dice, crocheting, doing crafts and camping. She loved going on floats and boating, and especially spending time with her family. Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Harold Westcott (Erin Meunster) of Dubuque and Joseph Westcott (Teri McGillan) of Baldwin; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Watson of Vinton, Neva Geinzer of Tipton, Nancy Jones of Vinton and Judy (Dan) Ortz of Cedar Rapids; and brother, Mike McFarland of Vinton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Dean McFarland; two sisters; and one brother. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Online condolences may be left at www.laheys.com.
