Marshall D. Zuck, 86 of Jesup, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, at ABCM Rehabilitation Center - West Campus in Independence.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church, Jesup, with burial at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family or a charity of the donor's choice.

Marshall was born March 13, 1931, in Barclay township of Black Hawk County, Iowa, the son of Emery Eugene Zuck and Ora Maude (Clime) Zuck. He graduated from Jesup High School with the class of 1949. On July 1, 1949, Marshall and Marlys Jean Miller were united in marriage at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, Iowa. He was a farmer, served on the Jesup Community School Board for 22 years, and was mayor of Jesup for 10 years.
Marshall is survived by five sons, Dale (Emogene) Zuck, Michael (Mary) Zuck and Dean (Annette) Zuck, all of Jesup, Iowa, and Rick (Pamela) Zuck and Russell (Jeannine) Zuck, both of Dunkerton, Iowa; one daughter, Deanna (Don) Dahl of Marion, Iowa; 26 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kay Collins of Greeley, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Marlys; one son, Dennis P. Zuck; one brother, LeRoy Zuck; and a brother-in-law, Ivan Collins.
