Douglas Lee Nickell, born Jan. 25, 1964, passed away peacefully on Feb. 14, 2018, at his home in Louisiana, Mo.
Doug forever will be remembered and greatly missed.
His big heart, sense of humor and culinary abilities brought happiness to everyone who knew him. Doug loved to fish, his pets and to cook for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Stroot, and her family whom he was very close with; his daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Tyler Andrews; parents, Henrietta and Allan Nickell; brother, Mike (Dori) Nickell; sister, Lisa (Jeff) Wittmer; three nephews and their children; and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
