Dorothy M. Krotz, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully, with a smile on her face, surrounded by family, on Saturday, Sept., 10, 2016, at Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center in Cedar Rapids.
Family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Cedar Memorial Chapel State Room. Interment will follow the gathering at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dorothy was born Sept. 24, 1924, to Charles and Mary Kovarik Swacka, in Cedar Rapids.
Dorothy will be missed by her daughter, Betty (Randy) Schultz; brother, Richard Swacka; grandchildren, Kimberly, Steve, Nick, Morgan, Connor, Chloe, Brandon and Carlee; great-grandchildren, Rylan and Eastin; niece, Sharen; and nephews, Larry and Dennis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley Krotz; sister, Branche Lassen; brothers, Bernard and Charles Swacka; and special friend and caretaker, Wilbur McMurrin.
