Whitters, Dorothy E.
Dorothy E. Whitters, 79, of Marion, died Friday, April 15, 2011, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday at Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, officiated by Bishop Kenneth Sechaerr from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Friends may visit at the funeral home after 12:30 p.m. Monday.
Dorothy is survived by six children, Mary (Brad) Johnson, Jerry, Duane and Robert Whitters, Angelique Hiawia and James Sheldon.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Donald Whitters.
Dorothy was born July 13, 1931, in York, Pa. She worked at Walmart in Marion.
