Dorothy Marie Brown, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at her home. A private family graveside service will
be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dorothy was born Nov. 4, 1930, to Virgil and Emma (Bishop) McMille in Deshler, Ohio. She married Clifford Brown on Nov. 6, 1952, in Washington, Iowa.
She is survived by her children, Georgia (David) Hunt of Greeley, Cindy Brown of Cedar Rapids, Jed (Kathy) Brown of Omaha, Neb., Carmel (Diane) Brown of Cedar Rapids and Lisa (Scott) Meyer of Williamsburg; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Brown; an infant daughter; both parents; her brother, Francis McMillen; and her sister, Betty VanWinkle.
Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family.
We, her family, will miss her greatly and are comforted to know she is reunited with our father.
