Dorothy Ellen (Bridge) Lubbock Kautz, 92, of Shellsburg, died Friday, May 4, 2018, at Willow Garden Care Center in Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Oak Grove Church with Pastor Matt Magee officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Shellsburg. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton.
A memorial fund has been established.

Dorothy Ellen Bridge was born Dec. 9, 1925, to James and Della (Johnson) Bridge. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Lubbock on Sept. 24, 1944, in Shellsburg. Lawrence preceded her in death. Dorothy was later united in marriage to Bill Kautz in North Platte, Neb. He also preceded Dorothy in death.
In her leisure, Dorothy enjoyed painting plates and canvas, playing cards, gardening in her flower beds, knitting and crocheting. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, David (April) Lubbock of Shellsburg and Paul (Di) Lubbock of Cedar Rapids; her daughter, Teresa (Butch) Whitehurst of Garner; her sister, JoAnn (Gerald) Sisco of Cedar Rapids; and she was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Lawrence and Bill; two brothers, Larry and Jimmy Bridge; two sisters, Mary Lou Bridge and Billie Kraus; and a granddaughter, Shannon Whitehurst.
