Dorothy E. Frasher, 93, of Marion, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at Summit Pointe Senior Living. Services at 10 a.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday. Entombment in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include four nephews, Tom, Mark, Matt and Marty; a niece, Marian; and a sister-in-law, Charlaine Meseke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; a son, Lawrence; and two brothers, Raymond and Richard Trinkle; and a niece, Cheryl Trinkle.
Dorothy was born Oct. 4, 1923, in Webster City, the daughter of Lawrence and Geneva Crawford Trinkle. She married James R. Frasher on May 14, 1956, in Iowa City. James passed away in 2003.
Dorothy worked at the Marion Sentinel for several years. She enjoyed playing cards, working crossword puzzles and sketching.
Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association in Dorothy's name.
