Von Lienen, Dorothy

Dorothy Von Lienen, 75, died July 16, 2013, after a long illness.

Dorothy was born Jan. 27, 1938, in Iowa City, Iowa, and graduated from Marengo High School. Dorothy married George Von Lienen on Oct. 6, 1956, and they shared 57 years together. Dorothy has been a resident of Macon, Mo., since 2000.

In addition to her loving husband, Dorothy is survived by her sons, John, Lee and Scott, and daughter, Peggy; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ella Mae Sperry of Cedar Rapids.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Loreen Fuller; her sister, Marge McFarland; and her brothers, Clough Fuller, Marion Fuller and Robert Fuller.

The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m., both at Kloster Funeral Home in Marengo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund in Macon, Mo.
