David Anthony Brenneman Sr., 73, of Iowa City, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at his home surrounded by family.
A dual Celebration of Life for both Dave and his wife, Carole, who passed this last November, will be held Saturday, April 21, at the Iowa City Moose Lodge and Family Center from noon to
4 p.m. A memorial fund has been established in both of their names, to help with funeral and medical expenses, at Veridian Credit Union, 812 First Ave., Iowa City, IA 52245.
Dave is survived by his children, David (Sandy) Brenneman Jr. and Brandy (Jason) Boswell; his grandchildren, Becca, James, Joshua and Sara Brenneman, Cole and Melody Boswell and Matthew and Curtis Bolinger; one great-granddaughter, Zoey Bolinger; his siblings, Jim (Mary) Brenneman, Rob Brenneman, Mary (Brian) Kiernan, Phil (Marilyn) Brenneman, Becky (Rick) Schulz and Pat (Dawn) Brenneman; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Brenneman; his parents, Del and Dorothy Brenneman; his brother, Terry Brenneman; and nephew, Jeremy Brenneman.
