Kristine Kay (Erickson) Brown died unexpectedly on July 28, 2017. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Susan (John) Nost; sister, Kelly Erickson; stepsister, Mary (John) Hale; and nieces and nephews, Vanessa Vizcarra, Sarena (Jose) Delgado and Adam (Jacqui), Molly and Alex Hale.
Born May 29, 1965, in Cedar Rapids to William and Susan Erickson, Kris attended Mount Vernon High School and was a member of Camanche High School's Class of 1983. She was a loving person and good friend to many. Her beautiful smile always shined through. Her love of dogs was apparent with all the rescue dogs she saved. Kris was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan. At the time of her death, she was employed at Rockwell Collins.
Kris is preceded in death by her father, William Erickson; grandmother, Irene McHugh; and many precious furry pets.
Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
