Karleen Lynn Eschweiler-Terrell, 49, of Independence, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Buchanan County Health Center, Independence.
Karleen was born June 20, 1966, in Independence, the daughter of Lyle and Dixie (Bowers) Eschweiler. She graduated from East High School, Waterloo, and attended Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids. On March 4, 1983, she married Michael A. Terrell in Independence. Karleen work for a short time with the U.S. Postal Service in Cedar Rapids.
Karleen was an outdoors person; she loved to ride Harleys, fishing, camping, collecting carnival glass, going to auctions and flea markets and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Terrell; three children, Robyn Koenck-Reuter, Manchester, Eric Terrell, Independence, and Jennah Beck, Manchester; 10 grandchildren; her parents, Lyle and Dixie Eschweiler, Independence; a sister, Denise Simmons, San Antonio; and a brother, Troy Eschweiler, Independence.
Karleen was preceded in death by a sister, Jodi Conner; and a grandson, Zander Hindman.
Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, with the Rev. Robert Solon officiating. Inurnment will be in Fontana Park Cemetery in Hazleton.
