Nebergall, Marilyn

Marilyn Nebergall, 81, of Olin, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at Clarence Nursing Home, Clarence, Iowa.

Services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarence. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until service time at the funeral home Wednesday. Burial will be in the Olin Cemetery on Thursday.

Survivors include her daughters, Terry (Duane) Lasack of Lowden, Pat (John) Sandberg of Mechanicsville, and Nancy Diossy and friend Mark Bone of Anamosa; son, Warren (Cindy) Nebergall of Olin; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Robert Hoffner; and sister, Doris Hasselbusch.

Marilyn was born March 28, 1929, in Cedar County, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Lena (Biere) Hoffner. She married Richard Nebergall May 18, 1947, in Cedar Rapids. He died Nov. 28, 2010.

Marilyn was a homemaker and her family was the biggest part of her life. She was a member of the Olin United Methodist Church.
