LORAN "BONE" GARLAND

Loran "Bone" Garland, 46, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, after a sudden illness. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Celebration of Life wtih Masonic service: 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home conducted by Wayne P. Jones Jr. Inurnment will be at a later date.
He is survived by many friends and family.
Loran was born Aug. 10, 1969, to Larry and E. Jaye (Erlanson) Garland in Iowa Falls, Iowa. He graduated from LinnMar High School in 1989. Loran was a member of the IBEW Local No. 405, Kingston Lodge No. 676 and AmVets No. 6. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Loran's memory.
