Although he was a top-five finalist, Kevin Kasson, 18, of Coralville, was not voted Esquire magazine's Best Dressed Real Man.
Columbia University student Dan Trepanier was announced the winner Wednesday by Esquire fashion director Nick Sullivan on NBC's “Today” show.
Trepanier, 22, received the most online “fan favorite” votes.

Much of Kasson's wardrobe is made up of new and used suits he purchased on eBay. He also takes pride in the suits in his collection that are originally from a 1960s store.
Esquire's prize totaling more than $30,000 included a $10,000 wardrobe from Kenneth Cole and Esquire, a one-year supply of Nivea for Men products and an IWC watch.
