Mike Trout notches first MLB hit, Kendrick extends hitting streak to 18, Trumbo homers again

Mike Trout (2009-10) laid down a bunt single in the third inning for his first major league hit. A throwing error on the play allowed the Angels to score thier first run. Torii Hunter hit a three run shot two batters later as Trout scored his first major league run. Trout walked in the fifth innings and scored all the way from first on Maicer Izturis' RBI double.
Howard Kendrick (2004) extended his current hitting streak to a career high 18 games with a single in the seventh inning. Mark Trumbo (2006-07) hit a HR for the second straight day to give him 16 this season.
