Harold D. Willingham, 74, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016, in Fort Myers, Fla.
He was a very loving and caring person and made friends with everyone he met.
He will be missed dearly by his loving wife, Sandy; stepdaughter, Michelle (Chris) Skulley of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Logan Skulley, Morgan, Kelsey, Whitney and Patti; Harold's loving sister, Delores Pulis of Moberly, Mo.; loving brother, Carl Willingham of Mexico, Mo.; and children, Brian Willingham of Iowa City, Teri Johnson of Nevada, Iowa, and Jane (Kevin) Menke of Winona, Minn.
Harold was a member of the Classy Chassy Cruisers Car Club and enjoyed his '57 Chevy and the trips taken with friends.
Cremation has taken place at Harold's request, and a celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at First United Methodist Church, 214 E. Jefferson St., Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice House, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
