HAROLD W. FRASHER
Center Point
Harold W. Frasher, 72, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away April 28, 2018, at Winslow House Care Center in Marion, Iowa. The family will greet friends, Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Service is Friday, May 4, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Church in Center Point, conducted by the Rev. Robin Spurling.
Harold was born on June 11, 1945, at Peoples Hospital in Independence, Iowa, to his parents, Henry and Dorothy (Neidy) Frasher. He graduated in 1963 from Troy Mills High School. Harold married Patricia Gardner in 1970. He was employed by Cargill East, retiring after 40 years.
Harold is survived by his wife, Patricia, and daughter, Aimee (Shannon Langreck). He also is survived by his sister, Lois (Frasher) Waller of Marion, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Glenn; sister-in-law, Sharon; and brother-in-law, Clayton.
Harold was an active member of the First Christian Church of Center Point, where he was an elder and board member. He enjoyed helping in the church kitchen for many years.
Harold enjoyed yearly fishing trips with his daughter, Aimee, to northern Minnesota. He also enjoyed his woodworking hobby of making many wood crafted items for the CWF members of the First Christian Church.
The family would like to give many thanks to the St. Luke's Hospice program and a special thank-you to nurse Robin Brown for her attentive care.
