CEDAR FALLS — Northern Iowa wrestling is turning over its West Gym to a guest Tuesday, but UNI coach Doug Schwab isn't conceding so easily.
"I've got to challenge (Donald) Trump to a couple takedowns," Schwab said with a smirk at his weekly press conference Monday. "He's making us move practice, so I don't know if I appreciate that a whole lot."
Schwab was probably joking. Probably.
But would the Republican presidential candidate, who is holding a campaign rally at 6 p.m. Tuesday, don headgear for the bout?
"He'd mess up his hair, I don't think he'd like that," Schwab said.
The Panthers (2-4) are coming off a 24-12 win over Northern Illinois last Friday and visit No. 5 Viginia Tech at 6 p.m. this Friday.
