Noted Cedar Rapids composer, conductor, educator Allen Koepke has died

The arts community tonight is mourning the death of Allen Koekpe, noted Cedar Rapids composer, conductor and educator. Koepke had battled pancreatic cancer since 1996 and died Sunday evening, Sept. 23, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. We will share more on his legacy through the eyes of his friends and colleagues on Monday.
