Marvel F. Dennie, 89, of Independence, Iowa, died peacefully of natural causes on Sunday morning, Dec. 27, 2020, at Lexington Estate in Independence with her family by her side. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at Church of Christ United, Winthrop. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fawcett-Schmitz Funeral Home in Winthrop and one hour before the service Thursday at the church. Interment: Fairview Cemetery, Winthrop, Iowa. Memorial fund: Buchanan County Agricultural Foundation (Building Project).
