Allen Richard Snyder, 71, died Jan. 30, 2006, in Yuma, Ariz.
Allen was born July 10, 1934, in Benton Harbor, Mich. Allen was a 25-year resident of Yuma and retired from Arizona Public Service, a light utility company, in 1991 as foreman. He was a 51-year member of I.B.E.W. and a longtime member of Local 387.
At the time of his death, Allen was survived by his loving wife, Janice Jacoby Snyder, whom he married Oct. 17, 1987; his four stepchildren, who belong to his wife; brother-in-law, Larry (Dawn) Bender; and cousin, Sherwood Snyder III.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert (Olive Barrick) Snyder; a brother, Eugene Snyder; and mother-in-law, Betty Jean (Reid Jacoby) Bender.
Services were private at the time of his death in Yuma. His cremated remains will be interred with his wife, where he asked to be put.
