Gage, Allen Lynn
Allen Lynn Gage, 70, formerly of Bertram, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at his home. Services: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Campbell Cemetery, Bertram Township, by the Rev Dick Ernst. Friends may visit from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Teahen Funeral Home.
Allen is survived by son, Jeff (Sherry Shultz) of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Cherie Gage of Grafton, N.D.; mother, Audrey Gage; brother, David (Chris) Gage; two sisters, Julie (Tom) Klaren and Lucia Gage, all of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, Lynn; and brother, Ronald.
Allen was born Sept. 3, 1940, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Lynn and Audrey Carmer Gage.
In Allen's earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and watching Iowa Hawkeyes Basketball.
