Kazimour, Genevieve Alice
Genevieve Alice Kazimour, 95, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Teahen Funeral Home by Deacon Dan Hoeger. Burial: St. John Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Genevieve is survived by a sister-in-law, Rosemarie Marsh of Cedar Rapids.
Her husband, Lumir, and brother, Joseph, preceded her in death.
Genevieve was born Sept. 31, 1917, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Joseph and Nellie (Stickley) Marsh. She graduated from St. Patrick High School and attended Coe College. She married Lumir Kazimour, who later died in 1963. She was a retired 17-year employee of Rockwell-Collins.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and enjoyed playing golf in earlier years.
