Richard F. Dvorak, 62, of Swisher, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at St. Ludmila Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will
be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, where there will be a 7 p.m. parish vigil.
Richard was born May 27, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Frank and Betty (Stark) Dvorak. He
graduated from Prairie High School in 1969 and received a degree from Kirkwood Community College in 1970 in dental technology. He was the owner of Dvorak Dental Laboratory in North Liberty for over 40 years.
Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching and supporting Iowa Hawkeye wrestling, being with his friends at the kitchen table and especially the time spent with his family.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Shauna (Charles) Pertzsch of Grimes and Megan (Marcus) Burns of Fairfax;
grandchildren, Connor, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Maxton, Elizabeth and Marie; his brother, David (Connie) Dvorak of Swisher; his sisters, Joanne (Paul) Rammels-berg of Cedar Rapids, Janice (Mike) Ehrmann of Amana and Laurie (Kurt) Gustafson of Cedar Rapids; and special friends, Dennis Hromidko, Chuck Lavery and Kaye Petsel.
He was preceded in death by parents.
