Arens, Dena
Dena LeeAnn Arens, 39, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, in her home following a lingering illness. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at St. Michael's Catholic Church by the Rev. David Kucera and Deacon Joe Behounek. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Hrabak Funeral Home with a Scripture service at 7 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Dan; daughter, Taylor; sons, Tyler and Nathan, all at home; father, Leo Hlas, and stepmother, Marsha, of Elberon; brother, Jim (Sheila) Hlas of Belle Plaine; stepbrothers, Chris Boots of St. James, Mo., and Ben (Donette) Boots of Belle Plaine; grandmothers, Madeline Arens and Leota Cronbaugh, both of Belle Plaine; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Cindy Arens of Belle Plaine; and by several nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Diane, in 2002.
