Floyd, Leanna R.
Leanna R. Floyd, 78, of Living Center West, died there Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, after a long illness. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Survivors include a sister, Lois Bienlien of Davenport; three brothers, Marvin Rammelsberg of California, Harold Rammelsberg of Cedar Rapids and Victor (Laverne) Rammelsberg of Shelbyville, Ind.; and 16 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Rammelsberg.
Leanna was born Oct. 14, 1930, in Iowa City, the daughter of Roy and Ruth Mohr Rammelsberg. She was a waitress for several local restaurants, most recently at Bishops, and later she was the owner and operator of Floyd Day Care.
Leanna was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Atkins. She enjoyed knitting, watching television and spending time with her friends and family.
A memorial fund has been established in Leanna's name.
