DONALD JOSEPH "JOE" MICHEL

Donald Joseph "Joe" Michel, 73, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at Mercy Hospital.
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, Dec. 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. Family committal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Mary, and their son Mark, both of Iowa City; his siblings, Sandra (Richard) Havel of Lone Tree, Kevin (Vickie) Michel of Brighton and Gary Michel (Joanne Wilson) of Iowa City; brothers- and sister-in-law, Kay Stokes, Tom Wilson, Jim Wilson and Mike (Wendy) Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; and his best friend, Dodge, his chocolate lab.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
