MICHAEL DUCKETT
Springville
Michael David Duckett, 61, of Springville, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2017. Memorial services: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, at Eastview Christian Church, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his sisters, Mari-ann Servey, Linda (Chuck) Blackford and Cathy (Dennis) Fish; and lifelong friends, Doug Ogreen and Lea Anne Beeson, and Doug's children, Nicole and Ryan.
Mike was born Feb. 7, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Harold and Margaret (Phillips) Duckett. He worked for many years at Wilson's and Worley Warehousing. Mike loved animals, especially his dogs and horses. He loved to waterski and share plants and flowers with his family and friends.
Mike will be remembered as a hard worker and a friend to everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marge; and a brother, Terry.
