Lint, Ken
Ken Lint, 78, of Marion, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at the Hiawatha Care Center, where he had resided since having a stroke in October 2010.
At Ken's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are being made by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Ken is survived by his wife of 24 years, Linda; daughters, Allison, Elizabeth, Lisa and Angela; sons, Kenneth Jr. and Michael; a sister, Theola; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
During his life's journey, Ken was a loving husband and father, an expert woodworker and square dance caller. After his retirement, Ken enjoyed many hobbies including singing Karaoke, woodworking, gardening and his model train layout.
In the final weeks of his life, Ken took great pleasure in talking about going home to heaven to be with his Savior, Jesus.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Mercy and the staff at Hiawatha Care Center for all they did for Ken. It is greatly appreciated.
