Ketelsen, Kenneth
Kenneth Ketelsen, 66, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at a North Carolina hospital. He originally lived in Ellsworth, Kan.
Kenneth was born May 14, 1946, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Harlan and Marjorie Ketelsen. He graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. He was a welder for many years for Harnisch Feger. He then went to Kirkwood Community College to become an engineer until he retired.
Kenneth and Barbara Sullivan were married in December 2011.
Kenneth had three sons, Brian Ketelsen in Anamosa, Bill (Wanda) Ketelsen and their son, Kenny Ketelsen of Ellsworth and Edward Ketelsen and his children, Corbin and Alexis of Cedar Rapids.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Ketelsen.
Kenneth was cremated. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Corcordia Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids, with Pastor Brad Brown.
