David Molback, 43, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Ind., after a sudden illness. Memorial Services to celebrate David's life will be 7 p.m. Monday, March 17, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City, where the family will greet friends after 3 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed for an educational fund for David's son, c/o Notre Dame Federal Credit Union in Mishawaka.
Services will also be held Friday, March 14, at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka.
David was born March 8, 1971, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Gary and Peggy (O'Neil) Molback. He was a graduate of Iowa City High School.
David enjoyed country music, cooking, fishing and spending time with his friends. He had lived in Mishawaka for a number of years where he was employed at The Tradewinds Restaurant.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Peggy Molback of Iowa City; his son, Dante Molback of Mishawaka; a sister, Christine (Tim) Calderone of Mishawaka; a brother, Dale (Carol) Molback of Rosemont, Minn.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents and one uncle.
