Eugene R. “Gene” Streets, 89, of Maquoketa, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at Finley Hospital in Dubuque. A memorial service celebrating Gene's life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the First Lutheran Church in Maquoketa. Friends and family may gather before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.
