Olson, Molly Georgia

Molly Georgia Olson, 79, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center. Celebration of Life services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. A private family inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will an hour before services Saturday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.

Molly was born Feb. 21, 1933, in Brighton, the daughter of Charlie and Lucy (Long) Low. She married Jerome Olson in Cedar Rapids. Molly worked for the Cedar Rapids School District for over 19 years at Washington High School.

She enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo, and spending time with her friends and family.

Molly is survived by her sons, Richard (Marilyn) Burnley and George Burnley, both of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Kara (Ryan) Muller of Fort Benning, Ga., and Eric Hunter of Cedar Rapids; great-grandson, Jakob Muller; and her brother, Pete Lowe of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerome; four sisters and a brother.
