Landon Wayne Duros, 49, passed away Oct. 12, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Trevor Duros; paternal father, Robert Pose; and grandparents, Bill and Evelyn Mikulecky, Lee and Betty Pose and Andrew and Goldie Duros.
Surviving are his son, Christopher Duros; his parents, Dave and Darla Duros; sister, Stacey Hodges; and grandmother, Helen Philipp.
Landon was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Aug. 8, 1966. He spent his youth playing with his friends at Franklin field and creek. He moved to Albuquerque, N.M., in 1979 with his family. Landon loved "Star Wars," and constructed a life-size replica of R2D2 with his closest friend. In high school, he was nominated twice by his drama teacher for "Who's Who Among American High School Students." Landon's winning personality earned him many admirers and friends. After moving to Cedar Rapids in the early 1990s, he opened a carpet installation business. He moved to Pueblo, Colo., last year and worked at Lowe's.
He will be missed by all!
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at Brosh Chapel & The Avacentre, 2121 Bowling St. SW, Cedar Rapids.
