Kerr, Terry
Terry Kerr, 61, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Memorial Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Dec., 20, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, with military honors by American Legion Post No. 727.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca; daughters, Naomi Kerr, Kendra Novak, Dica Smestad, Abby Kerr, Shelby Kerr, Tricia Risden and Christene Lowe; sister, Melinda Mesina; 14 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Terry was born April 21, 1949, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Everette and Katherine (Parcell) Kerr. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired truck driver. He married Rebecca on July 5, 2007, in Arkansas. He enjoyed watching NASCAR. Terry was a great husband and loving father and grandfather. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cindy Mixon; and grandchildren, Cheyanne and Hunter.
