Wymore, Joyce
Joyce Wymore, 86, of Lisbon, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010. Memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday at Gwen's Restaurant, Lisbon, by Celebrant Mary Morgan. Joyce will be buried at 2 p.m. Saturday in Forest Cemetery, Oskaloosa, her hometown. Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roy Wymore of Lisbon; daughters, Judith Crawford (Robert) of New Port, Minn., and Jacquelin Rick (Hugh) of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Dorothy Smith of Mesa; a brother, Dale Smith of Oskaloosa; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a cousin Coleen Sheely.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pearl Brown Smith; sister, Jane Stafford; and grandson, Jeffrey Jilovec.
She was born March 29, 1924, at Oskaloosa, Iowa. Joyce worked as a cashier in the grocery business for many years and drove cars for Plaza Auto Auction, Mount Vernon, until she retired.
