Annette R. LaCoursiere died peacefully on May 15, 2015, at her home in Cedar Rapids at the age of 43 years. She will be cremated at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at a later date.
Annette Blauer was born Jan. 24, 1972, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Larry and Sherry Blauer. She married Roger LaCoursiere on June 27, 1992. She was employed at Four Oaks as a social worker.
She was preceeded in death by her father, Larry Blauer; her father-in law, Jake Folkers; her mother-in-law, Gail Folkers; her aunt, Patricia Hyatt; and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Roger LaCoursiere; her daughter, Ashley LaCoursiere; two stepdaughters, Jennifer LaCoursiere and Erica Blair; her grandaughter, Madison Bomkamp; her mother, Sherry Blauer; her sisters, Cindy (Darrell) Benesh and Brenda Steinert; two sisters-in-law, Dotti Newlon and Teresa (Jim) Ellis; brothers, David Blauer and Scott (Dana) Blauer; brother-in-law, Jeff LaCoursiere; and numerous nieces and nephews.
