Jan (Hoeft) Kay, 65, of
Davenport, passed away
Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, at her home.
Jan was born in Cedar
Rapids, Iowa, to John and LaVonne Hoeft. She married Thomas Lay on May 24, 1975, in Cedar Rapids. Jan was an insurance agent with Molyneaux Insurance for 30 years before her retirement.
She enjoyed taking day trips, garage sales, reading, golfing and especially time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas; a daughter, Robyn (Dan) Leiby of Bettendorf; a son, Matthew Kay of Denver; four granddaughters, Kylie Kay, Makenna, Addison and Ellie Leiby; two sisters, Becky Meier and Sue Feddern, both of Cedar Rapids; and a brother, Tom (Dawn) Hoeft of Burnsville, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
