Limkemann, Jolynn Kay (Reusch)

Jolynn Kay (Reusch) Limkemann, 56, of East Lyme, Conn., passed away Aug. 15, 2012 at her home following a short illness.

Jolynn was born on July 26, 1956 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Art and Jeannette Reusch. Jolynn attended school at the College Community school district and graduated from Prairie High School in 1974. On Dec. 7, 1974 Jolynn married her high school sweetheart, Randy Limkemann. Prior to moving to Connecticut in 1982, she was employed at Rockwell Collins.

She is survived by her husband, Randy; parents, Art and Jeannette; and three sons, Matt (fiancee Norin) of Trinity, N.C., Tony and Scott (fiancee Rachael) of East Lyme, Conn.; two brothers, Arthur Max (Diane) Reusch, Jr. of Ballwin, Mo. and Al (Evie) Reusch of Macomb, Ill.; three grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Ferguson; and paternal and maternal grandparents.

Jolynn spent many years applying her talents both at BJ's Wholesale Club and as a self-employed caterer. She will be remembered for her beautiful cakes and cookies.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at St. James United Methodist Church.
