Deanna Lynn Reasor, 46,
of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Cedar Valley Bible Church, 3636 Cottage Grove Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids. Funeral service: 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the church conducted by Pastor Sean Lillis. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, is caring for Deanna's family and her services.
Deanna is survived by her husband, Michael Reasor of Marion; two daughters, Lindsay Reasor of Marion and Cassidy Reasor of Marion; parents, Lyle and Shirley Haugen of Marion; father- and mother-in-law, Ken and Jeneanne Reasor of Hiawatha; four brothers, Michael Haugen of Marion, Rusty (Lisa) Haugen of Hiawatha, Kevin Haugen of Marion and Jeffrey Haugen of Robins; two brothers-in-law, Dan (Mary) Reasor of Elk Grove, Minn., and David (Karrie) Reasor of Eagan, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hubert and Ruth Whitman; and sister-in-law, Michelle Reasor.
Deanna was born June 27, 1970, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle and Shirley (Whitman) Haugen. Deanna graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 1988 and later graduated from Kirkwood Community College. On April 6, 2006, she was united in marriage with Michael Scott Reasor in Cancun, Mexico. She worked as a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service. Deanna was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the Deanna Reasor memorial fund to be directed toward her daughters' education or Susan G. Komen for fighting breast cancer.
