Novak, Vincent J.
Vincent J. Novak, 78, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at the Marengo Memorial Hospital from cancer. Memorial services will be 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, by Deacon Joe Behounek, followed by military rites. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Inurnment will be in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, north of Van Meter, Iowa.
He is survived by a son, Dale Novak of Iowa City; a daughter. Dianne (Rusty) Cline of Marengo; a sister, Dorothy (Don) Dangle of Sioux Falls, S.D.; sisters-in- law, Ida Novak of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Marlys Novak of Brandon, S.D.; a brother-in-law, Jack (Gloria) Cram of Sioux Falls, S.D.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
