Letter: Hillary Clinton is a proven leader

I see my strong mother in Hillary Clinton. The word quit was not in her vocabulary. Many times she reminded my siblings and me to never forget how lucky we were to be Americans and live in the greatest country on Earth. There was no prejudice in her heart and believed in the hard work ethic. She was Salutatorian of her high school class but didn't have the opportunity to go to college. Instead she raised four children and earned a CNA certificate and worked as hard as three people in a local hospital. I am the first in my family to earn a B.A. college degree.
Hillary has the same hard work ethic and the belief that quitting is not an option, when you believe in the heart of America and what we all can achieve together. She is a proven leader and my mother would have been very proud of what she accomplished throughout her entire life, especially in regard to the betterment of children in health care and education. Children are our future and most precious gift.
I urge Americans that when you go to the polls remember the struggle and hard work of so many people that you know who strive to make this a better world for all people.
In contrast, 'big, beautiful walls” do not represent the heart of America or what she stands for. My heart was troubled by the comments of the other candidate who spoke of his greatest sacrifices as building more big, beautiful buildings with his name on them in big, gold letters. How sad.
