Don E. Wagner, 87, of Wellman, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Parkveiw Manor in Wellman. A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with Pastor Marlene Jansen
officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Joetown. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home.
A general memorial in the name of Don E. Wagner has been established.
Don Eugene Wagner was born Nov. 9, 1927, in Oxford, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Edith (Stratton) Wagner. He farmed all of his life and enjoyed farming, visiting with family, attending craft shows and raising dogs.
Survivors include seven nieces and nephews; and a number of great-, great-great and great-great-great- nieces and nephews.
Preceding Don in death were his parents; brother, Ivan Wagner; and sister, Iola Donohoe.
