Sue Ann (Jensen) Isaacson, 65, of Anamosa, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after suffering a sudden stroke on Nov. 24. She had just hosted a delightful Thanksgiving meal with her extended family on Sunday, Nov. 23. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at First Congregational UCC Church in Anamosa, by the Rev. Greg Griffin. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery in Wheatland.
Survivors include her husband, Jim "Ike"; two sons, Aaron and Joshua Thies; two stepchildren, Chris (Jennifer) Isaacson and Marci Isaacson; a granddaughter, A'Reecia Thies; her mother, Lois (Jensen) Latare; two brothers, Alan (Laurie) Jensen and Mark (Mary) Jensen; and a sister, Judy (Bob) Tucker. Not to be forgotten are Nibbles and Spuds, her affectionate canine companions.
She was preceeded in death by her father, Dale Jensen; and stepfather, Don Latare.
